An important part of education at St. Anthony Nursery & Primary School, Kajjansi is learning the value of community and service to others.

The personal benefits of pupils volunteering to do community service; develops an increased sense of social responsibility—a global view of society and a heart for "giving back" and helping others.

On 09th June 2017, as we remembered our Ugandan National heroes, the pupils and staff from St. Anthony, through the school’s commitment to service, carried out general cleaning of the Kajjansi Central market and Kajjansi Health Centre IV on Entebbe road.

This exposed the learners to the diversity and multiculturalism in the area surrounding the school. The learners further got an opportunity to apply academic learning to real human needs and also provided the pupils with the opportunity to become active members of their community. In this way we were able to develop responsible and compassionate citizens.
