My name is Mark Lukyamuzi. I am in P.6 East. Allow me to use chance to express my love for St. Anthony Primary School Kajjansi. I thank God for being part of the school.

There are many interesting events at my school but the day I shall always love and remember is St. Anthony’s Day (Our Patron Saint)

On 13th day of every June, we celebrate St. Anthony of Padua in high vibe. On 13th June 2024, we had such a wonderful day. The main celebrant was Bishop Anthony Zziwa Joseph of Kiyinda Mityana Diocese. I liked the way primary six and primary five pupils animated with angelic voices, the bishop prayed and blessed our 2024 primary seven candidates to excel in their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

The day is always prepared in such a way that food and drinks are served very well. Personally, I enjoyed the day because even my parents attended in person. The Holy mass was so interesting that all the confirmands passed questions asked by the bishop. They were confirmed, a cake was cut and served. It was so delicious, big and colorful.

Our teachers were smartly dressed for the day. Each department wore their own uniform attire. The school managing director was the smartest. She wore nice outfit that I admire. Media houses were covering the event. I remember the presence of Radio Sampietia “Enkuluzze ya magezi” 90.4 FM Kampala, Uganda. One of the radio station’s staff called Ms. Nabbale Justine was covering that event.

The bishop told us various facts about St. Anthony of Padua. He informed us why St. Anthony of Padua is pictured with a baby. He also told us the miracles St. Anthony of Padua performed. Kindly never miss the annual event at St. Anthony Primary School, Kajjansi. Dances and songs were sung. They left us talking in tongues. The Music Dance and Drama was perfectly trained by Mr. Lumu Richard. Our Head Teacher gave a brief history of St. Anthony Primary, Kajjansi. I liked the effort the MD has put to ensure that our school is vibrant, and spacious, has excellent academic performance, and everyone admires it.

I surely love the school and events done here. I wish every parent to bring their children here for quality education, where everyone wants and knows how to learn.
