On 17 January 2020, the 2019 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results were released by UNEB. St. Anthony Nursery & Primary Schools, Kajjansi performed well attaining 131 1 st grades and 47 2 nd grades with a total of 178 candidates.

It is very important to teach children the fear of God and many people have it in their mind that it can only be done by religious leaders not knowing that it is every one’s responsibility. Annually, we celebrate the cultural diversity at St. Anthony Nursery & Primary School, Kajjansi. This year on 22nd June 2018, we were privileged to learn about the various norms and beliefs of the various different tribes in our school. Many parents and care takers ignore the cultural norms and values but how happy is the young generation at St. Anthony to recognize their cultures!

On 17th July 2018 pupils of primary seven and six classes at St. Anthony Nursery and Primary Schools, Kajjansi had an educational trip to Jinja. The tour included travel to places like Nytil Textiles where cotton is fabricated into clothes, the famous Masese Landing Site and the Jinja Annual Agricultural Show. A total of 395 pupils (two classes) traveled to Jinja with a team of twenty (20) teachers enjoying of the journey of 245 Km to & from school.

At St. Anthony Nursery and Primary Schools, we believe swimming is one of the best forms of exercise as it works on every part of the body without putting muscles and joints on stress. It is essential that every child learns to swim, especially to be water safe and secure. We introduced swimming to our pupils early in life so that it helps them to improve on their overall physical and mental health.
